Self-defence courses for women/FLINTA* and girls*

11 - 99 years old

self-defense starts in your head. Easier said than done.

In this class we are addressing especially FLINTA*/girls* needs while creating a safe place where we can discuss and talk the importance of boundaries and how they can be defined individually.

The idea of hurting someone even if their own physical integrity is at risk seems much more difficult for FLINTA*/girls* that’s why we will learn together how to defend those boundaries if needed will be taught with many applications but most of all with a lot of fun.

Taking a self-defense class is not automatically a guarantee that nothing will ever happen to someone but there’s a good chance that one (hopefully) never gets into serious situations.

Julia Brasch (born 1981) started martial arts when she was 9 years old.

She is a double black belt, in Kung Fu and Taekwondo. Since 2016 she trains under chief instructor Johannes Isenberg Seven Star Mantis Kung-Fu and is also assistant coach for both, children and adults.

Self-defense for FLINTA* and girls* is of great importance to her. Because just because being a martial artist does not mean you will be able to defend yourself if really necessary.
