Origins
How it all began...
The Landessportbund Berlin and the AOK launched the initiative for an exercise programme in day-care centres for children under the motto “the little ones come out big”.
This project enabled the ATV to expand the range of physical activities it offered for children and to contribute to disease prevention and better health.
We began our partnership with day-care centres in October 2002 and these connections are still an important part of our association today. This programme is aimed at children from 2 years old up to preschool age.
“We come to you”: our kindergarten gymnastics programme
This means that we come to your kindergarten if there is a gymnasium available. An instructor leads a group of 12-15 children through a 45-minute gymnastics session once a week. The day and time will be arranged on an individual basis. We offer two trial sessions and would be happy to introduce ourselves at a parents’ evening.
Thanks to the support programme run by the Sportjugend and our club, you will be provided with equipment that you can use at any time. If you do not have a gym available, you have the option of joining us in a gymnasium. We are happy to offer you sporting events for parents and children as part of an afternoon.
We look forward to welcoming you!
The course is made possible thanks to the support of Sportjugend Berlin and AOK Berlin.
